    PolyWorks Japan is currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the team in Japan.

     

    In collaboration with the Vice-President of Sales and the marketing team at the corporate headquarters, you will be responsible to:

     

    Responsibilities

    • Developing and executing localized communications strategies and plans to acquire qualified leads through social, digital, advertising, and content initiatives, including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
    • Planning private events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; managing external suppliers; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists; participating in those events; evaluating and analyzing the impact of all events
    • Monitoring budgets and expenses by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
    • Preparing marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
    • Working closely with the company’s sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations
    • Organizing the production of branded promotional items and marketing material, and keeping material ready by coordinating requirements with the sales and technical support departments; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipts
    • Undertaking the continuous analysis of the competitive environment by keeping up with market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors
    • Staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices regarding marketing in Japan
    • Assisting team members with day to day marketing-related tasks

    Qualifications

    • Business-to-business (B2B) marketing
    • Marketing research and reporting results
    • Coordination, project management and planning
    • Digital platforms analytics is an asset

     

    Required profile:

    • Bachelor’s degree or a college degree in marketing or communications
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role
    • Excellent verbal and written English skills
    • Confident and outgoing personality
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Well organized and self-motivated
    • Team-oriented with positive attitude
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Capable of jumping from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side
    • Available to travel throughout Japan
