    InnovMetric Software Inc. has been developing and marketing its PolyWorks 3D metrology software since 1994. Its main clients include the world’s leading automobile and aircraft manufacturers. The company conducts most of its sales through its global distribution network. Due to our steady growth in annual sales, we are currently seeking a Director of sales (distribution).


    Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, Distribution, the incumbent will be assigned the following responsibilities for each distributor under his or her management:


    • Identifying annual sales objectives in Asia
    • Supporting distributors by planning and overseeing the execution of strategic actions
    • Increasing sales according to pre-determined annual targets
    • Taking part in various fairs and events when launching new versions of PolyWorks across the territory
    • Holding regular meetings with major distributors, at least 10 to 12 times/year (one week of travel)
    • In collaboration with our supervisors and sales coordinators: Managing day-to-day business relationships with distributors within the assigned territories
    • Arbitrating disputes when managing networks of "non-exclusive" distributors
    • Monitoring competitor environments (prices, products, distribution, promotions) that could impact the competitive positioning of PolyWorks within these markets; and
    • Carrying out ad hoc business development mandates assigned by the Vice President of Sales, Distribution


    • 10 years of experience in international "non-exclusive" distribution network management (preferably for products with high technological content)
    • 3D metrology experience required
    • Knowledge of PolyWorks tools
    • Experience as a non-contact inspection, reverse engineering, and technical support specialist
    • Knowledge of Mandarin, Urdu, and other languages spoken in India an asset
    • Excellent written and spoken English
    • In-depth knowledge of the Asian 3D metrology market
    • Frequent travel to the InnovMetric head office in Quebec City to attend team meetings
    • Sales experience with large accounts, along with products and software with a "long purchasing cycle" (6 months or more)
    • Available for travel throughout Asia
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering, or other relevant discipline
