    PolyWorks Mexico is currently looking for a Web Developer to join the team in Puebla.


    As a member of a team dedicated to design, code, and web app tests using JavaScript technologies, you will be involved in the technical and graphics aspects as well as participate in maintaining and updating existing applications of the company. Your main responsibilities will be to:

    • Develop each of the tasks included in the backlog;
    • Analyze and estimate the development times for future tasks included in the backlog;
    • Properly manage the source code of the project;
    • Implement unit and functional tests to each of the new features released;
    • Document source codes;
    • Actively participate in project meetings.

    You will be part of an experienced team, receive excellent coaching upon arrival, and actively participate in all stages of development: analysis, technical design, programming, test automation, and validation.


    We have been using the Agile method (SCRUM) for over 10 years.


    The successful candidate might also be required to occasionally travel to InnovMetric’s headquarters in Canada. A valid passport will be required in that case.


    • Computer Science Engineering
    • English level: Intermediate
    • Excellent understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
    • Experience developing user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
    • Experience in the design and development of responsive web applications
    • Work with debugging tools such as Firebug, Chrome Inspector
    • Ability to implement designs and prototypes (mocks) into HTML pages
    • Knowledge on how to interact with APIs and RESTful formats (JSON, XML)


    • Understanding of control tools for code revisions
    • CSS for multiple browsers
    • Handling ECMAScript 6
    • Basic knowledge of AngularJS, Vue.js
    • Knowledge of the following libraries: PDF.js, Chart.js, Three.js
    • Basic knowledge of testing tools such as: Karma, Jasmine, Istanbul
