Responsibilities

As a member of a DevOps team, you will actively contribute to the development and evolution of services related to software production, validation, deployment, and monitoring. In addition, you will work closely with developers and the ITOps team to identify and implement optimal solutions that meet their needs.

Qualifications

  • Be proficient in the Python programming language, a major asset
  • Possess experience with version control software such as Git and Mercurial
  • Have a strong interest in technology and a clear desire to stay on top of new trends and developments
  • Be familiar with specialized tools, including SaltStack, InTune, Elastic Stack, and Grafana
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of DevOps development practices (TDD, Infrastructure as Code)
  • Display a thorough understanding of virtualization and process automation (VMWare, Hyper-V, Docker, Vagrant)
  • Be comfortable working with production environments (Jenkins and GitHub)
  • Show solid skills in drafting procedures, technical bulletins, and other technical documents
  • Possess a strong ability to analyze and investigate multi-system problems
  • Be familiar with other programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Perl, and JavaScript
  • Know how to work with databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
  • Show familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
  • Possess experience in systems administration, an asset
  • Be well-versed in networking principles and best practices
