Accounting Clerk (Summer Job) – Quebec

You would like to gain hands-on experience in accounting while actively contributing to the financial operations of an international technology company? If so, this Accounting Clerk opportunity is for you!

Under the supervision of the Corporate Controller, you will take part in the day-to-day activities of our finance department and play a key role in the smooth running of our accounting operations.

• Assist with the entry and validation of accounting transactions
• Help prepare bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations
• Contribute to the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Support the team in preparing internal financial reports
• Participate in certain month-end activities based on level of experience
• Ensure proper filing and archiving of financial documents
• Perform any other related tasks to support the accounting team

• Be enrolled in a university program (Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting or Finance) or a technical program (DEC in Accounting and Management Techniques)
• Demonstrate a strong interest in accounting and finance within a corporate environment
• Be able to use the Microsoft Office suite effectively, especially Excel
• Show rigor, strong analytical skills, and great attention to detail
• Demonstrate autonomy while working effectively within a supportive team environment
• Act with discretion and respect the confidentiality of information
• Be familiar with accounting software (an asset)
